Request for Proposal Regarding Supplier of Choice for Clothing Apparel
Woolwich Minor Girls Hockey Association is now accepting proposals to be supplier of choice for athletic clothing apparel.

WMGHA is releasing a request for proposal to suppliers of athletic apparel and is looking to select a supplier of choice for all apparel needs for members of the hockey association for the upcoming season.  The goal would be to have set dates for sizing’s/fittings in September & early October with delivery of product for the start of the hockey season (mid/late October).

Through this initiative, it is hoped that a high quality and visually appealing array of clothing products can be offered to members at an affordable price through the benefits of bulk or large order sizes. Also as part of our fundraising initiative we ask that WMGHA receives a gratuity of 10% on all sales.

Other benefits would include the elimination of having to buy a different looking track suit or jacket from year to year as this will be a standardized look that will carry over from season to season.  Families will also have the ability to pass on existing clothing to younger siblings which would be another form of reducing the costs of playing hockey from year to year.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, include supply of items along with sample images, sizing and pricing. As part of a standardized product offering staying within our current Stormtech clothing line, clothing base colour would be navy with a coloured Woolwich Wild logo applied to the apparel.

This is a best and final offer request. Negotiations will not be part of the selection process.

Emailed tenders will be accepted until June 17, 2014.

In the spirit of being a community based association, all members will have the opportunity to share this proposal with their friends and family who might be interested in submitting a tender. All proposals will be reviewed and evaluated on an equal and unbiased basis along with select apparel providers that have serviced the association in the past.  We will ask vendors who are interested to possibly come and present to our executive at one of our monthly meetings.  Once a vendor has been selected, it would be expected that all teams and players obtain apparel from the selected supplier.  The consistency in appearance as our players travel throughout Ontario to play the game, will go a long way to demonstrate to other associations that playing for WMGHA and that living in Woolwich is something that we should all  proud of.
