Information on LLFHL Playoffs and Provincial Playdowns.
We currently sit in 7th place with 3 games left to play. Looking at the standings we should stay around this point.
LLFHL Playoffs
Round one of the LLFHL Playoffs start on Feb 1 and must be completed by Feb 16. Only the top 8 teams play in the playoffs. The playoffs is a 4 point best of three series. The first two games can end in a tie, if both teams are at 3 points at the end of the third game then a 5 minute sudden death period is played followed by a shoot-out if necessary to decide the series.
OWHA Provincial Playdowns
The playdowns are based on regions, for us it is all teams in Waterloo Region and Brant County. This means we will play a round robin with Waterloo, Kitchener, and Brantford. If agreed with all teams we can play a double round robin of a home and away game. I have asked the other teams if they want to do this. The Playdowns must be played between Feb 1 and March 10th.
