Hi, my name is Kyle Rank and I am the Head Coach for the 2025-2026 U13A Woolwich Wild Girls Hockey team.
I have been involved in coaching with the Woolwich Wild Association for the past 10 years. I have coached all the way from U7 to U13A. I have really enjoyed getting to know the girls and challenging them on the ice to achieve goals and gain confidence they can use in everyday life. I’m hoping this season will be more of the same and I have players who are looking to improve their hockey skills and support their teammates no matter the outcome.
Prior to coaching minor hockey I was an Assistant Coach with the Elmira Sugar Kings. I grew up playing minor hockey in Woolwich. Eventually, playing for the Sugar Kings and moving on to getting a hockey scholarship to play in the NCAA for St Lawrence University. After concluding my 4 years at school I attended training camp with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Buffalo Sabres playing for their minor league teams in the AHL and ECHL.
I currently work for the Waterloo Fire Dept and live in Elmira with my wife Roxanne, our two daughters McKenzie and Charlotte and our dog Gus.
