WGMHA does not provide timekeepers for games.  It is the responsibility of each team to find their own timekeepers or have parents take turns in this role.  However, many teams hire timekeepers and include the cost in their team budget.

WGMHA is once again offering a goalie clinic to all goalies (and players interested in becoming a goalie). This clinic will be taught once again by Vinny Merante from MBS Hockey.

The cost of the Goalie Development Clinic will be covered by the Woolwich Girls Minor Hockey Association subject to the conditions outlined on our Goalie Clinic webpage

The OWHA supports the Government of Ontario in improving concussion safety to create a world class amateur sport system where athletes can participate safely.  Under Rowan's Law, OWHA participants, parents and guardians of athletes who are under 18 years of age, coaches, trainers, officials, bench staff and all named-insured individuals MUST review the OWHA Concussion Awareness Resource annually and make an annual commitment and acknowledgement at the time of registration with the OWHA.

This season, the WGMHA is offering a Player Development Clinic run once again by Kaitlin Doering.

The clinic will consist of 6 sessions to be held every Wednesday at 6pm (ages 10 and younger) and 7pm (ages 11 and older) in the McLeod arena in Elmira starting on October 2nd.

The fee for the clinic is $100 and registration is restricted to the first 25 applicants.
