Wild Heading to the U15LL Semifinals!
With a strong showing in the 2nd half of the 2025-26 campaign, the Woolwich Wild U15LL #1 team has qualified for the Pool B semifinals!

Come cheer on the team at their semi-final game on March 25th at 6:45pm in McLeod!

The entire team came together, reinforcing their core values of Respect, Commitment and Teamwork to completely turnaround their season. A 5-2-1 record resulted in #1 ranking in the Pool B standings.

All aspects of the girls game improved considerably, scoring 21 goals over the 8-game session, while allowing just 9 goals against. That goals against average (GAA) of 1.13 is the best of the 4 teams remaining in contention for the championship.

Full credit goes to the girls for committing to a system that has produced a higher quality performance on-ice and greater enjoyment off the ice. "Our team has really clicked at the right time and we are all willing to put it all out there to do what it takes to win," said Hannah Kellough, team Captain. "We've been taught that when we have a desire to win, we can achieve great things," added Kellough. Many of the players sport the marking "D2W" on their hands as a reminder of their commitment.

The Wild are set to face off against the Waterloo Ravens #1 in a semifinal following March Break. The teams faced off twice in the regular season with both teams winning on home ice. With the higher ranking in the round-robin, the Wild will host the Ravens on March 25th @ 6:45pm on the McLeod Rink.
