Goalie Discount
- Goalie discount of $200 applies to returning goalies who met the requirements in the 2024 - 2025 season. This discount will be applied as a credit to this season's fees.
- $200 goalie discount for 2025-2026 goalies. This discount is available at the end of the season and can be applied as a credit to next season's fees. For example, if you are rostered as a goalie for the 2025-2026 season, you will receive a goalie discount in the 2026-2027 season.
- This applies to players who:
- for rep teams - were rostered as a goalie on the team, OR
- for local league teams (U11 and up) - played in net for 50% of the games.
Registration Notes:
Please note the WGMHA reserves the right to limit registration in any division, or to not offer a division due to insufficient registration.
- First time registrants to Woolwich Wild girls hockey need to provide a copy of their birth certificate. Please email a copy to our Registrar at [email protected].
- Additional fees will be payable in the Fall:
- A 10% discount for families with 3 or more players - please contact [email protected] or [email protected] for more information.
- The U18 Local League fees reflect a reduced level of practices for these Local League teams in comparison to other divisions. If your daughter plays U18 rep, the base fee is higher as the reduced level of practices does not apply to U18 rep teams.
Choosing the Correct Division
If your daughter was born in 2020-2021, we suggest you register your daughter in our Fundamentals program.
The Fundamentals program has one practice ice time per week on average and does not participate in organized games against other centres. This program is best suited to girls who are new to hockey and skating. More experienced girls born in 2020 may register for U7 if they can skate independently and will be able to handle structured game play in tournaments and games against other centres.
If your daughter was born in 2019, you may register her for U7 or U9 Local League.
The U7 program has one ice time per week on average, while the U9 Local League program typically has two ice times per week. U9 Local League will play approximately 16 league games against other centres. U7 typically plays six exhibition games against other centres. Both U9 and U7 teams may enter tournaments.
We require OWHA approval to move a 2019 player from U7 to U9, therefore please be sure to select the appropriate program. For those parents that have already registered their 2019 daughter in our U7 program, contact our Registrar ([email protected]) if you want to switch to the U9 Local League program. The additional fee is payable prior to the first ice time in September.
Payments
- Payment should be made by etransfer to: [email protected]
- Please include your daughter's name and division (i.e. U9, U11, etc.) in the message when sending the etransfer
- Full payment is due by August 1, 2025
- You may make payments in installments - please contact our Treasurer ([email protected]) to make arrangements.
- If you have questions about payments, please contact our Treasurer ([email protected]).

Payment Assistance
There are a variety of organizations that can offer financial assistance with registration fee payments to families who qualify:
Refund Policy
If your daughter/you decides prior to September 1st not to play hockey and you have already registered and paid, you will receive a full refund of the base registration fee. After that date, the base registration fee refund will be pro-rated, less any Hockey Canada and OWHA fees/insurance costs. For the 2025 - 2026 season, this fee is $72 ($62 for Fundamentals). This amount is non-refundable once your daughter has attended an ice time. No refunds are allowed after December 31st, unless there is a medical justification.
Tryouts
- Permission to Tryout forms (PTT) can be requested starting March 2025. Contact our registrar at [email protected]. Please allow 48hrs to process your request.
- Tryouts for the U11, U13, U15, U18 are held in April and May.
- Tryouts for U9, U22 and the Senior B rep teams are held in September. Please watch our website for dates.
- All players MUST register for tryouts and pay via an etransfer in advance of the tryout dates. For more information, please see the Tryout Registration Information page.
- Tampering is not permitted, and a player registered with an association may not be approached to play for another association without the permission of her current association.
When is the first ice time?
Once the initial schedule is made up for all teams, it will be posted on the applicable team's calendar on the website in the Fall.
