Schedule & Results, Midget B, U18, 2012-2013 (Woolwich Wild)

The GOLD medal game!!  The Wild were focused and determined to beat Twin Centre in this game. I am not sure that Lauren saw the puck in the first period. The Wild got on the score board in the second period with line of Sarah, Kendra and Lindsey applying great pressure around the net with Lindsey grabbing the loose puck and finding the mesh. The Wild found more strength and in the 3rd period, Michelle block a shot from the point sending it past the defence with Randi picking up the  puck racing towards the Hericanes end. Cora, Randi and Michelle following right behind, Randi dropped the puck to Michelle who sent a rocket to the net and past the netminder with Wild grabbing a 2-0 lead.  Great defence, forechecking, backchecking and the best goaltending kept Twin Centre off the score sheet except for their penalties. GOLD..GOLD nothing but gold.  Coach Jay now needs to dye his hair red as he promised. AWESOME weekend.
