'Home Town Hockey' Quilt donated to Liam Moyer
The Waterloo-Wellington branch of Victoria’s Quilts Canada (VQC) recently donated a quilt to Liam Moyer who was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in October. The quilt was made with a print called 'Home Town Hockey' and was made by local VQC volunteers, one of whom is a parent on a Woolwich Wild team.
The VQC has 26 branches and provides handmade quilts to people living with cancer in Canada. The Waterloo-Wellington branch of the VQC delivers about 300 quilts a year.
