Welcome Back to Hockey starting January 31st!!!
We are excited to have you back starting Monday, January 31st!

We have updated information from the Township to share with you in addition to details about the League and OWHA plans for the balance of the season.

Rep Teams

The Rep League for our U9 to U18 teams has been renamed OWHL-Southern.  You can find game information and statistics on the OWHA website under OWHL-Southern.  The OWHL-Southern League has asked us to try to reschedule games which were cancelled due to COVID.  Your team coach and manager are in the process of doing this.

The Senior B rep team will not be rescheduling cancelled games as per the agreement made by all teams at the start of the season.  Instead, any cancelled games will be recorded as a tie for standings purposes.  Your team will continue with the regular season games and then proceed to playoffs if you qualify.

For teams choosing to participate in the OWHA Provincial Playdowns, your coach and manager will also be scheduling playdown games for your team.  Playdowns run from February 4th to March 13th.

Therefore, expect to see changes to your team schedule over the next little while.  Please be patient while your team works to get these games scheduled.  Your team staff will explain the process to you.

Local League Teams

The KGLL decided to reduce the second half of the season to 8 games for all divisions.  These games have been scheduled and can be seen on our website.  The season ends on March 25th.  The top four teams in each ‘pool’ will then move on to a semi-final game with the winners of those games moving on to the Championship Day on April 3rd.

U7 Team

Exciting news!  The U7 team will be taking part in six exhibition games against other centres within the Kitchener Girls Local League (KGLL).  We are in the process of scheduling these ‘fun’ games.  Your coach and manager will explain the game process to you.

Please inform your coach/manager if you or a family member has COVID:

If your daughter or someone else in the household has to isolate due to COVID, please let your team coach or manager know ASAP.   We will need to know the expected end date of your isolation period. Please keep your team coach or manager informed if that date changes.

Coaches need to plan for upcoming games and therefore, they need to know how many players they have available to play.

Ontario has released new guidelines for COVID-19, please refer to ‘What to do if exposed to COVID-19’.
