Important Points When Registering

  • REMEMBER TO SELECT THE PACKAGE THAT REFLECTS THE LEVEL OF PLAY YOU ARE INTERESTED IN:  LL Player or Competitive player.
  • Please take the time to add both parents contact info on RAMP as it is helpful for tracking potential spectators in the stands and for communications to parents.

If your daughter was born in 2016, you may register her for U7 or U9.

The U7 program has one ice time per week on average, while the U9 Local League program typically has two.  U9 Local League will also play approximately 16 league games against other centres.
We require OWHA approval to move a 2016 player from U7 to U9, therefore please be sure to select the appropriate program.  For those parents that have already registered their 2016 daughter in our U7 program, contact our Registrar (
[email protected]) if you want to switch to the U9 Local League program.  The additional fee ($350 = $500 - $150 U7 fee) is payable prior to the first ice time in September.

If you have any further questions please contact the Registrar: Sarah Hicks at [email protected]d.com

All ages as of December 31st

Please note the WGMHA reserves the right to limit registration in any division, or to not offer a division due to insufficient registration.

  • First time registrants to Woolwich Wild girls hockey need to provide a copy of their birth certificate.  Please email a copy to our Registrar at [email protected].
  • If you play on a rep team, other than the Senior Women's team, additional rep fees will be payable.
  • A 10% discount for families with 3 or more players - please contact [email protected] or [email protected] for more information.
  • The U18 Local League and U22 fees reflect a reduced level of practices for these Local League teams in comparison to other divisions.  If your daughter plays U18 rep, the base fee is higher as the reduced level of practices does not apply to U18 rep teams.

  • An additional Association Rep Fee applies to all players/goalies on rep teams.  This will be payable in October.  Rep teams will also have additional team fees to cover costs such as tournaments, extra activities, spirit wear, etc..

Goalie Discount

  • Goalie discount of $150 applies to 2021-2022 returning goalies.  This discount will be applied as a credit to this season's fees.
  • ** New increased goalie discount of $200 for 2022-2023 goalies.  This discount is available at the end of the season and can be applied as a credit to next season's fees.
  • This applies to players who:
    • for rep teams - were rostered as a goalie on the team, OR
    • for local league teams (U11 and up) - played in net for 50% of the games.
  • The goalie discount applies to the registration fees in the subsequent season.  For example, if you are rostered as a rep goalie for the 2022-2023 season, you will receive a goalie discount in the 2023-2024 season.

Refund Policy

If your daughter/you decides prior to September 1st not to play hockey and you have already registered and paid, you will receive a full refund of the base registration fee.  After that date, the base registration fee refund will be pro-rated, less any Hockey Canada and OWHA fees/insurance costs.  For the 2022 - 2023 season, $55 ($45 for U7) of the fee is to pay for Hockey Canada/OWHA insurance.  This amount is non-refundable once your daughter has attended an ice time.  No refunds are allowed after December 31st, unless there is a medical justification.

Tryouts

  • Permission to Tryout forms can be requested starting April 2022.  Contact our registrar at [email protected].
  • Tryouts for the U13, U15, U18 were held in April and May.

When is the first ice time?

All U9 and U11 players (rep and local league) will be offered four pre-season ice times in early September prior to any teams being formed.
