2020-2021 Registration - Intent to Play - Stage 3

At this time, WGMHA will be accepting online registration for Intent to Play during future Stage 3 programming permitted by the OWHA, the OHF and Hockey Canada. There is No Cost for this Intent to Play registration. This is an intention by the participant to be part of Woolwich Wild hockey for the 2020-2021 season in Stage 3 which is currently conceptual and its progression will require further details set out by the OWHA, OHF, Public Health, and WGMHA. Minor hockey may be different from traditional hockey during this stage.

Once the details of Stage 3 are known, the parent may advise us that they do not wish their daughter to participate in the program for 2020 - 2021 by contacting our registrar at  CANCEL MY INTENT TO PLAY REGISTRATION.

If you have any further questions please contact the Registrar: Sarah Hicks at [email protected]m

Who can Register their Intent to Play

As per the OWHA, at this time we are only permitted to register girls who were rostered with us during the 2019 - 2020 season.  We will also register the intent to play for new players who currently reside in Woolwich Township.  New players who do not reside in Woolwich can not register with us currently.

Registration Fees for 2020 – 2021:

There is No Cost for this Intent to Play registration.  Once Stage 3 hockey has been defined, we will provide parents with the details and actual registration fees.  Parents will be given a deadline for payment at that time.

New terminology for age levels in hockey:

Following the recommendations of a task team, the age division names will be changing, impacting all minor and female hockey programs under the Hockey Canada umbrella. The change was initiated by Hockey Canada and its 13 provincial and territorial members and will be implemented nationally with their input and support for the 2020-21 season.
