In this Wednesday night game, the wild struggled trying to corral the puck and make it bounce their way. In the first five minutes the Wild created some chances but were unable to find the Woodstock net. For the next 15 minutes of the game, Woodstock made a deal with lady luck and the puck was all theirs. They found the mesh behind Lauren to take a 1-0 lead. The 3rd period belonged to the Wild and they final broke the deal Woodstock had with lady luck. With Lindsey and Cora applying pressure in the Woodstock end, they found Sarah with her stick planted on the ice who promptly sent it to the back of the net. Lauren the number one star stopped 4 breakaways to keep the tie. In the dying seconds of the game, Randi broke free from their defense and had the last breakaway of the game just missing the open side of the net. It was a great effort to come back being down one goal.
