Notes
The Wild started the game off with the same drive that the finished off the last game. Apply lots of pressure beating Grand River to the puck set the tone for this game. Lauren created the TSN turning point stopping a penalty shot. That started the fire in the hearts of the Wild. Rebecca intercepted a mid ice past as the Mustangs were trying to break out, she crossed the Mustang blue line and fired a bullet so hard, it went past the netminder and back out. After the refs discussed the play for what seemed like HOURS, they said the puck traveled so fast, they did not see it enter the net, so it was denied. This only added fuel to the Wild fire and they added more pressure. Finally in the last 3 minutes of the game, Kendra grabbed the puck in the corner and rushed to the net finding a space to send it to the mesh. Great team effort Wild.
