Atom LL, U11, 2014-2015 (Woolwich Wild)

As we are nearing the end of playoffs, we wanted to keep parents informed about the semi-final and Championship Day game possibilities. Our girls are in Pool B. The top four teams within each pool will move on to the semi-finals (see below for the tie-breaker rules). The 1st place team will play the 4th place team, and the 2nd place team will play the 3rd. The 1st and 2nd teams will host their semi-final games between March 23rd and March 27th. The winning teams from the semi-final games will move on to the Championship game on March 29th.

Atom LL parents - here is our home game time keeper schedule. If you are unable to cover the date you were assigned please make alternate arrangements. The time sheet can be picked up from the team Manager the before the game. Following the game, the white and yellow copies can be returned to the team Manager and the visiting team gets the pink copy. Thanks for your help! The Atom LL team is now on a two game winning streak defeating the Ayr #2 team, 2 to 1. With another great home game win, Lauren Gerth continues to look like a natural goalie, making a number of saves. First time goals were scored by former Ringette players Carlee Mueller and Emmie Williams. It was a good team effort with assists from Annie Sargent, Payton Karn, and Annabel Musselman. Go Wild go! 

The WGMHA is requiring all players who are 10 years of age by September 1, 2014 take an online Impact testing baseline assessment. There is a cost of $25 per player to be paid through the WGMHA for administration of the test.  The Impact testing baseline will assist with concussion management in the case of a head injury during the season.  Please refer to the rest of the article for instructions on taking the online assessment.

Congratulations to the Atom LL team on their win today over the Cambridge Roadrunners White. They secured their season opener with a 2 to 1 win at home. Goals were scored by Annabel Musselman, with assists from Haley Newton and Sophia Hanley, and Kate Ratcliffe. First time goalie, Lauren Gerth, made some great saves. The game was an awesome team effort - way to go Wild!
