Choosing the awards for individual players in a complete team effort with games filled with amazing plays is becoming increasingly difficult. Earning today's Gold Jersey Award is Lilyana!! Lily started as a rookie this season and already is competing and winning the little battles with the best of their players. She forechecks and back checks hard and is always blocking their goalie and at the net for the rebound. It is clear from her smiles that she loves the game and it is clear that she is working hard every shift. Congrats Lily!
Earning today's Hardest Worker Hat award is Ellie W!! Ellie has had a supreme tournament and continues to be a force on defence. Ellie has stopped a great number of their rushes and has created turnovers so that we have chances. Ellie is clearly a hard worker and is most deserving of today's award. Congrats Ellie!
Earning today's Cripps Foundation Memorial necklace is Audrey M!! Audrey has been a powerhouse for Team Wild with her superb stick handling, ability to win puck races and solid wrist shot has created some highlight plays and scoring in most of our tournament games.
