The U13B team is incredibly fortunate to have some fantastic trainers and manager.
Now it's time to turn the spotlight onto these 3 hard working moms who help to keep the team organized and in tip top shape.

Manager Marianne
Marianne manages this year’s U13B team and organizing things is one of her favourite pastimes. She loves eating anything her husband makes, especially his curries and his barbecued steaks. Her favourite hockey drill is getting her kids to the rink on time, and she doesn’t like slap shots since one hit her in the face and broke her nose. She always cheers for Team Canada and Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” is her favourite pump up song.
Trainer Jessica
Trainer Jessica, or Jess-ee-ka, is affectionately known as the team’s “Trainer in Training.” Jessica’s favourite hockey team is this year’s Woolwich Wild U13B team, and she loves getting to know the players and families that make up the team. Steak, pepperoni pizza, and salt water taffy are this trainer’s favourites. Jessica has a kind heart and looks for ways to encourage the girls through kind words and thoughtful gestures. She loves the movie “Old Yeller” (except for the end—because who doesn’t cry at the end?), the colour green, and pepperoni pizza.
Trainer Tanya
Trainer Tanya is great at whipping the team into shape and encourages the girls to push themselves in order to grow in their skills. Her dry-land training sessions get the girls moving. She also frequently creates fitness challenges to help the the girls build their endurance and stamina. She loves prime rib, Aero chocolate bars, and pineapple on her pizza, but oysters are a food she’ll never have again. Tanya cheers for the Toronto Maple Leafs, gets pumped up listening to “Feel the Vibe,” and looks up to Matthew McConaughey.
